The Hebridian sheep,as its name implies,
originated in the islands off the west coast of Ｓcotland.
At one time they were common throughout Scotland but were superseded by
the Blackface
It is now mainly as a parkland sheep.

新石器時代からウェールズ地方に
生息していた

The Black Welsh Mountain is theonly completely black breed of sheep to
be found in the United Kingdom.
the Black Welsh Mountain nevertheless grows wool which is sufficiently
fine,soft,and densely stapled to be regarded as aspeciality type and which
can be used to good effect in combination with other wools.
Always black small sheep.
